ECOSLC is delighted to congratulate Port of Anping TIPC for achieving ECOPORTS PERS certification. The port introduced EcoPorts in 2017 and is now receiving its PERS certificate for the third time. It demonstrates the continuous effort to reduce the environmental impact of port operations.

EcoPorts PERS is the only port sector specific environmental management standard. The standard requires, amongst others, to presents an overview of major environmental issues that relate to its port operations, to present the legal requirements that are aimed to reduce this impact and to introduce a continuous environmental improvement system.

It is the flagship product of the EcoPorts network and is offered outside Europe by ECOSLC Foundation through the ECOSLC website (www.phpstack-907308-3539791.cloudwaysapps.com). Compliance with the PERS standard is independently assessed by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (Netherlands) and the certificate has a validity of 2 years.
